About K9 Harper

Harper had a real love and determination for tracking missing cats. She would see me get ready for the day and start crying because she wanted to work so badly every day. She was our first search dog and the best girl ever.
Harper fought a long battle of hemangiosarcoma. She did receive chemotherapy, but eventually the cancer took over.
When she wasn't working she enjoyed her kiddie pool with water and her pet rock "Rocky" and chasing squirrels.

Beloved Bloodhound · Tracking Dog · RIP
A man-trailing dog who navigated life through his nose, Hank was a rescue from Georgia who didn't get a good start at life — but he found his purpose with Wandering Paws K9. He excelled at tracking missing cats in rural environments, his extraordinary nose leading the way on every search.
In his spare time, Hank had a particular talent for digging into the trash can and eating anything he absolutely shouldn't be eating.
He sadly passed away after a brave battle with nasal cancer. He is deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Meet Mildred — our sweet and determined Bloodhound with one of the most powerful noses in the canine world. Bloodhounds are legendary for their scent-tracking ability, and Mildred carries on that proud tradition as an active member of our search team. Mildred is also an air scenting dog specializing in missing cats in urban environments.
K9 Taro
German Shepherd · Search Dog
Taro is our agile and sharp German Shepherd, ready to take on any terrain New England throws at her. With keen intelligence and an exceptional nose, she brings focus and drive to every search mission — a true working dog through and through. Taro is our rural worker in difficult terrain and our tracking dog. She also does cadaver recoveries. Urban environments are not her thing.
